Dermaplaning uses a sterile surgical blade to remove the top layer of dead skin cells and the fine vellus hair most people call peach fuzz. Vellus hair traps oil, holds onto dead skin cells and makes foundation sit unevenly. Removing it makes a visible difference to how makeup applies and how the skin looks in natural light.
No scrub or enzyme does what a blade does. Weeks of dead cell build-up is removed in a single pass, revealing fresh skin underneath and improving the skin's overall tone and texture.

After a consultation and cleanse, your therapist uses a sterile blade held at a specific angle to gently scrape across the skin's surface. It feels like a light scratching sensation. It's not painful, and most people relax pretty quickly once they realise how mild it is. The exfoliation takes around 20 to 30 minutes. Depending on which treatment you've chosen, the session then continues with a nourishing mask, serum, or chemical peel. Total time runs from 60 to 100 minutes. Straight afterwards, skin feels different to the touch and looks noticeably more even and bright. Makeup goes on differently too. Results last around 3 to 4 weeks before vellus hair regrows and the skin cycle calls for another session. Most people come monthly.
