We start with a skin assessment to work out which product is right for you. The treatment involves multiple small injections across the area using very fine needles. You will feel a series of tiny pinpricks, and some products contain a local anaesthetic for comfort. Profhilo, for example, uses a specific five-point technique on each side of the face. The process takes 30 to 45 minutes. Straight after, you may notice small bumps where the product was injected. These absorb within a few hours. Some redness and mild swelling is normal. Results develop gradually over two to four weeks as the hyaluronic acid and active ingredients stimulate collagen and build deep hydration. Most people need a course of two to three treatments for the best results.
Regular treatments maintain hydration and collagen levels, which helps keep your skin in better condition as you get older.
